We provide bid, marketing, and business development support to organisations competing in competitive and complex procurement environments.

Founded by Carla Reinke, CP APMP, we help infrastructure, construction, professional services, and public-sector suppliers turn capability into clear, credible proposals. Our strength lies at the intersection of marketing, business development, and bid leadership, not in isolated bid writing support.

Collaborative

We work with you as an embedded partner, bringing structure and clarity. From the outset, we work closely with leadership and technical teams to understand context, test positioning early, and shape a strategic direction. This collaborative approach ensures complex capabilities are distilled into submissions that are tailored and articulate your unique offer and points of difference.

Our Approach

Iterative

Our work does not rely on a single draft or a linear process. We refine and strengthen responses through structured review, focusing on how proposals are assessed. That means clarifying value, addressing risk directly, and presenting information in a way that supports confident decision-making. Each iteration improves clarity, alignment, and credibility, resulting in submissions that meet scrutiny rather than simply meeting requirements.

  • We start with a conversation to understand your organisation, the opportunity you’re facing, and what support would be most useful.

That might be strategic pre-positioning input early in the pursuit, targeted review of an existing draft, or hands-on leadership through a live bid or proposal. From there, we’ll agree on the scope, timing, and the most effective way to work together.

  • Services include end-to-end bid and proposal management and writing, from early strategy and positioning through to final submission. We also provide business development support through pursuit strategy, and marketing services including business plans, presentations, award entries, and coaching for pitch and interview settings.

Independent bid reviews, graphic design and flexible resourcing are available where additional senior capability is required.

  • Engagements vary. Some are short and targeted, such as a review or strategic input at a key decision point. Others run for months and generally depend on the duration of a bid or the size and scale of the pursuit. We’ll agree on timeframes early and adjust if priorities or resourcing requirements change.

  • You will engage directly with Founder Carla Reinke. Where additional capacity is required, support is drawn from The Consultancy Co.’s trusted network of experienced, independent bid and marketing consultants. Each has worked directly with Carla and is held to the same high-quality standards. There is no hand-off to junior staff or rotating teams. Where additional support is required, this is discussed openly and brought in only where needed.

  • Yes. Our work spans a wide range of industries. While we have deep experience in infrastructure, construction, professional services, and public sector procurement, the principles we apply are relevant wherever organisations are competing through proposals, tenders, or structured submissions.

  • CP APMP certification reflects internationally recognised best practice in proposal and bid management. In practice, it means work is informed by disciplined thinking around strategy, structure, evaluation criteria, and evidence, rather than ad hoc writing. This provides clients with confidence that proposals are developed using a consistent, considered, and professional approach, regardless of sector or project scale.
